Brought in business and personal taxes for review. After Sharon got all of our information (basically your net worth), she came up with $1,500 just for personal taxes and $2,000 just for business. Any other accountant charges between $1,100 and $1,300 for BOTH! It was pretty easy to read exactly what this company was all about! I wouldn't recommend unless you like paying alot of money for the same thing any tax accountant can do who doesn't have alot of overhead and a fancy office that they want you to pay for!

I am a small business owner. I was contacted by two employees at SC today. They wanted to issue me a 1099 on behalf of their client. But I had no record of ever servicing their client. They persisted I needed to fill out a W9. After some research I realized what had happened. One of my existing clients came in for an estimate. I Emailed my client a quote in his name. He approved the estimate and scheduled a repair with me. Their client elected to pay for the repair at time of pick up. Because it was damaged at his shop. My client provided me with his phone number so he could pay the invoice over the phone. Again an invoice in my customers name. I verified the payers first and last name it matched the name on the card and I also verified his ZIP Code as part of the key in payment. I took payment with my customer by my side as a witness. Two of the employees at SC Harassed and threatened me today. I was told if I didn’t fill out a W9 for their Client so he could deduct this repair on his taxes... They would report me to the IRS. Furthermore they told me they would contact his credit card company to dispute the charges if I chose not to provide them with a W9. Both my customer and their client were thrilled with my workmanship. I am a retail business who is a S Corporation. I am not subject to a 1099 in any way. The W9 only helps their client save money. I was Harassed threatened and lied to today. All so they could get their customer a tax deduction. I do not know what will become of this. But my account says this is not normal practice. I am not a subcontractor, vendor nor do I have any relationship with their client. I make it very clear to any business that approaches me I am not taking on any new business accounts. I’m strictly retail at this time. Their client made no mention he was paying with his business card. He made no mention of having a Desire for a W9 at point of sale. If he had done so I would have declined his request to make payment to me. I’m owner operator and do not have time for all of the additional paperwork. My client would have been happy to pay me and be Reimbursed by their client. My client is great to work with. I will admit I cursed at the First Lady I spoke to and hung up on her. That was inappropriate. However they do not have the right to engage in Harassment and threatening tactics with me. All to help their customer get a tax deduction. Again highly unethical!!!
