The beds were horrible. Like laying on a brick. Front desk was not friendly, but Solomon was amazing.
Walkability: Close to the capital

Fails two critical details:
1. Every door slams
2. Staff walks around yelling into walkie talkies after midnight. Every night. The walkie talkies are at max volume.
I confronted one of them one night about it. Got a blank stare and he went right back to yelling.
If I owned a hotel I would gather the staff and say the customers give us money so they can sleep.

My stay at the Kimpton George Hotel in Washington DC was absolutely delightful. The stylish decor, friendly staff, and central location made it a standout choice. The rooms were cozy and well-equipped, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. Highly recommend for a memorable stay in the nation's capital.
Rooms: The rooms were very spacious and well-appointed.
Food & drinks: The food and drinks here were really delicious and authentic in taste.

If you work for IHG dont stay here. Made a reservation a month in advance and wanted to post payment early. They said they dont do that at this hotel which is okay but they also changed my rate that same day and didnt notify at all. No emails, no call no nothing and they had from the 5th to my check in date that was the 29th. They will most likely not honor your rate and they dont care about you to communicate that with you. Had to search for other hotels during Easter. Terrible experience They dont care about any IHG workers and respecting those that make the chain what it is. They just want to make as much money as possible and will have you drive out there, find terrible parking and wait in line until someone communicates that to you. Management is terrible for a Kimpton company.
