Great customer service front office personnel Haroch and Jess is the best friendly fast efficient what you need in the heart of the city. They take great care of me every time I come to the city to stay as a season ticket member for Wizards games.

When you see in these reviews that the rooms are small, believe it. I was traveling by myself, so this wasn't an issue at all. Big hotel rooms are wasted on me. It is definitely the most money I have paid per square foot EVER. My husband & I typically stay in short-term property rentals & we have paid less per night for an entire home. I assume the rates are probably determined by the area & I imagine that nearby hotels were similar. Like others, I found the staff very personable & friendly. I stayed for 5 nights. My room was attended to by housekeeping the first two days, but not the last two. Maybe you need to be out of your room during a certain timeframe for this to happen? It wasn't an issue for me. I had plenty of towels, toilet paper, and other sundries. The hygiene products that I used - hand soap, body wash, & lotion - were very minty. If you don't like mint, bring your own. If your netherregions are sensitive, bring your own. My room was on the side of H Street NW. I definitely heard much of what happened on the street below. I'm a light sleeper, so I didn't love that. I was able to walk everywhere that I needed to go, but there is a metro station across the street at the end of the block. It's a transfer station for the various lines, which is convenient if you are traveling that way. There are plenty of yummy dining options close by. The Capital One arena is a short walk away, as well. I am glad that I didn't have a car because there didn't appear to be a lot of options for parking in the area. Nothing about my stay ever caused me to feel unsafe. However, the Lyft driver who took me to the airport told me that the block the hotel is on is "sketchy." Again, I never feared for my safety, and I have definitely stayed in areas where that was a concern for me.

If you're going to charge more than $400-$300 a night during spring break or convention weeks, and your restaurant is closed down, you'd better start investing in some double pane windows, because it is too noisy outside and the cheap noise machines do not help. I'm up at 1 am because of the noise. Also, the pillows better not be lumpy, and yet they are. Convenient location to the convention center however, and the hotel staff is friendly. Totally overpriced.

AMAZING SERVICE FROM STAFF!! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very very small (smaller than downtown Toronto, I wish I'd checked the square footage) and the walls are thin. It was really hard to get to bed, as DC is a booming area, and we heard a lot of fighting and police cars all hours of the night.
