We had the pleasure of working with Bradley Katzen for for the purchasing of a new home. Brad was always incredibly accommodating and responsive! He is extremely pleasant to work with and really cared about us and went the extra mile!

I completely agree with one of the reviews already posted there, utterly unprofessional in their way of communicating, in other terms they just don't communicate. After telling the customer they will call them and they don't, on multiple occasions, and the customer starts really trying to find out what's going on, the customer is blamed and becomes the bad one... Very very unprofessional.Getting my mortgage was a painful experience with no proactive stance from the person at Prosperity.I would tell anyone to stay away from them. Why do business with people who in the end make you feel like you're actually bothering them when they don't have the minimum clue about customer service.Just thinking about my own experience leaves me very uncomfortable and deeply annoyed that in the end I did business with them.

As of Jul 2012, Prosperity is the defendant in a class-action lawsuit alleging that they are effectively a "sham" organization that serves as a conduit of kickbacks and fees for Long and Foster Realtors and Wells Fargo, the bank that funds most (all?) of the loans originated at Prosperity. Not like this isn't obvious to just about anybody who's worked with Long and Foster. Prosperity even shares office space with them on Wisconsin Ave.

Defintely stay away!!! I am a first time homebuyer, not really but my previous home of 13 years was in my ex husbands name and therefore I have NO credit! So, Im desperately trying everything to astablish credit, I got a cred it card like they told me, an auto loan like they told me, paid off four dr bills like they told me, and now I found a beautiful home and my realtor gave me Prosperity mortgage's number so I apply and after an exstensive phone conversation, and after getting my hopes up after he told me I now have good credit, he says I'm denied because I have not had credit for 12 consecutive months. I was heart broken. He told me to wait several more months. Im not waiting!! I wait for no one when it comes to wanting something. I'm going to give my children a home and I wont be discouraged by the first lender. I did everything they told me to do only to be denied. I personally think they're a waste. I have good credit now, and great income, why can't I just go out and purchase a home? Its bs

Stay far away. I have been trying to refinance for 2 months, and have worked with several brokers there, but they can't figure out how to communicate with me. Nobody returns calls or emails. They are horribly unprofessional.
