I always get the best care from my pact team. My doctors have saved my life 3 times in the past 5 years. I truly love them all.

You are like cattle here. Waited for over an hour and a half passed my appointment time to have my blood drawn along with about 100 people. The staff is friendly though. Not their fault.

30 years ago I applied for a RN job having 15 years experience. Because I was a white female with a WW11 Navy vet father and uncle,I was declined the job. I have been at my local hospital current job for 30 years. Some of my former coworkers work at this facility now,one an immigrant from Hungary. My father was established at the VA in Madison, Wisconsin prior to moving to the area and after the poor care here is buried in the cemetery. VA does not send bills to secondary insurance. After my fathers passing there, billing told us they would take the money due on his last hospital bill from his estate, even though he had no estate. Never heard from them again. The bereavement group is nice . The ER nurse sits there and does NOTHING for hours, family have to ask for a sandwich (after testing done with results) for VA patient while waiting hours for a bed assignment. As a visitor to my father, I observed his room mate patient put in restraints for very mild agitation, and observed other questionable care episodes and unbelievable clown shows. A delay in care, can lead to poor outcomes. Of note, the VA also DENIED that the radiation my father was exposed to as one of the first allied forces to occupy Japan post atomic bombs would be detrimental to his health in any way.
