Update- This is the first contact (if you call it that) I've had with chuck in over 3 months. The review was changed due to not returning any calls or texts regarding the tub. We completely understand it wouldnt look brand new but we did expect it to at least have product on it. The warranty paperwork provided by you sure implies that you would warranty the work. The tub was done partially by the homeowners mainly because you stated you preferred it that way due to not wanting to haul and move around a cast iron tub (I dont blame you). None of my review includes any part or portion of an area even touching your product or application. We did the outside, you did the inside. If you didnt want the job or to warranty it, you shouldn't have taken it. If it was too far to drive to, turn it down. Not take payment then ignore all means of communication when theres a problem. I wish chuck and his business nothing but the best. This may have just been an isolated incident with me as his customer. I'm changing my review of kott Koatings to 1 star. After his Initial visit, we isolated the bathroom for a week to ensure there wouldnt be any issues with the coating. Upon further inspection, we noticed several spots on the tub that were missed and/or the coating didnt take. We notified chuck and provided pictures. He came back out to check on everything. While he was here, he said attempted to touch up some areas but said there wasnt much he could do. Once again, we left it to dry and a few days later noticed it looked worse than before. There are some spots that clearly were not even touched and or missed. Once again, we provided pictures and contacted chuck. He told us he was busy for about 3 weeks out and contact him after then....we waited and attempted to contact him several times after he said and we have had no contact since. No calls or voicemails returned, no text messages returned (read but not returned). We feel like we recieved a poor quality service and hes not standing behind his warranty he bragged so much about. I know the options for tub resurfacing are few and far between in the area but steer clear if you can.
