Hernando County Public Works

Huge thank you to Troy Fulford (sp?) and Kelly in HC Dept of Public Works whom I just called 2 days ago re 4 dangerous areas I notice daily while bicycling in Hernando Beach. 2 of the four areas on the sidewalk were fixed (trees trimmed near Matolis & awful potholes etc near Sterling Marina) the NEXT DAY! Hopefully the other 2 will be fixed quickly too. Ty!

Someone had placed a large pile of tree debris on the right of way of an empty lot on our street. I called Public Works to see if they could remove it. The receptionist was polite and professional taking the information. The debris was gone in two days. I am extremely happy with their response. Thank you for cleaning up the mess someone else created.

I've been trying to get some kids to stop riding the noisy motorcycle in my yard. It overlooks the abandoned spring hill golf course and they go up and down every evening so I can't sit in my yard anymore. The nose is deafening!

5 stars not enough stars.....This is a very awesome review for the light foreman and the people that is in the electric or light pole department. They did a very wonderful job! Very polite! Very communicative! Very professional! I'm very thankful of them all in that department including the guys that installed the LEDs on the light pole located on my property! Need more of people like each of them. They take pride in their work!!!!!! Take pride in delivering service requested!!! Thank you very much!!!! I'm very pleased with them and grateful!!! As for storm water run off severe flooding issues..... with those people in that department they sent out another guy because I placed another work order from the last experience and was denied, so he came out to make his assessment to look at the drains with me which he did. He was polite and professional. We looked into the drains didn't see anything however there are holes inside the drains that he's going to take a look to make sure there's nothing inside the holes that could be blocking water flow by using a special camera. That's great I'm glad he's going to do that. If there's nothing inside blocking then he says he will put in a work order for engineering to come out. If there's blockage then he'll have the vacuum truck come out to take care of it. Thank you very much! The engineer came out took a look, had a pleasant experience with both gentlemen they both worked together to inspect what could be seen with the naked eye and will look into it a little further. Thank you very much!!! As for the tree cutting from the power lines that crew did a very nice job!! Things looks so much better and now taller vehicles can ride thru nicely. Thanks guys!!!Plus I want to add that Justin put in a work order for me as well about this issue because he saw the concern himself that's really cool!! This entire review will be updated as things progresses. I'm very happy and pleased with is the electrical part of it. The foreman and the light pole.... and management that has everything to do with the light poles and that department. They are great people and you can tell they love their job and they treat people with respect. I'm glad to have those people working for us. I have no complaints for them. They are all awesome. I couldn't ask for anything better or anyone better. Ive gotta say it's great to see people that love their job enough to facilitate customers concerns and insure understanding! I'm very happy with all the people that work for our departments for the county!!! Thank you ladies and gentlemen of our county for doing a great job and responding to me!! Capitalization is always ... Awesome
