A1 Windows and Doors

We contracted with A1 Windows & Doors to replace all of the windows in the 2100 sf, nine-story condo we purchased in 2023 (a total of 16 windows and one sliding glass door). From beginning order to installation, the process with A1 was smooth and efficient. Their staff was always responsive to our questions and their follow-through was always prompt and thorough. We couldn't be happier with our new windows. A special shout-out to our installers--Julian, Laranzo and Colin--who were courteous, careful, and thorough from start to finish. We highly recommend A1.

I did 8 quotes, and decided on A1 windows... Jim, the owner, came out for the quote and was extremely more humble than any competitors. (FYI - some contractors want to stay for a 2+ hr session to sell their product only to overprice you). Jim was very friendly, very efficient, and open and honest to allow the homeowner to make the best decision for themselves. From my research & perspective, this company is very competitive in the window installation market; and Soft-Lite windows is a top quality window manufacturer A1 installs. At time of installation... wow, what a team. I don't recall their names, but remarkable friendly, and extremely kind and professional. A1 does market their AAMA certification for the team supervisor.... while this is not required, this extra effort by A1 pays off to the customers. It is important to mention, under 1 old window, I had dry-rot when they pulled it out - which, means you cannot install a new window properly... the team stayed until 9pm replacing the old wood, patching up the required siding, sealing everything, and then finally getting the new window in! Words cannot express how much above and beyond this is. Wow - my heart goes out to them because they prioritized making sure my home was safe before calling it a day. And, moreover, there were no surprise upcharges. I've already had a close friend hire A1 with great results via my recommendation. And, now, my in-laws just moved into my neighborhood.... and they are excited to have A1 come out and help with their upgrade! It's rare now-a-days for a company to build a culture that is customer, quality, and performance driven... to see it in a contractor is even more rare. Thank you Jim and the entire A1 team! 5 stars is not enough!

Every person at A1 was a pleasure to work with! Jim gave us a very fair estimate on new windows, much better than other companies. Windows arrived weeks before estimated date. Robin quickly helped set up install, inspection and help with rebate, Mike and Tim did the install work. They were excellent, quick and very respectful during installation. If you need new windows, without a doubt I would highly recommend this company!
