Hampton Inn Debary/Deltona

We stayed here for a couple of nights while moving. The place is very clean, easy to get to, close to places to eat and for the bonus, the staff is top notch. Rooms: The rooms are spacious and very clean.

Hotel showed up on Hilton's app as close to the Sanford airport. Not really, it is 30 mins away. Front desk was nice and professional. The room... wowza! The a/c sounds like an airplane is flying nearby, but it isn't, the airport isn't close. The shower: it was nice to see so many hairs, from so many obviously different heads, on the shower wall. It was nice to see the artwork, next to the pink/coral shower slime in the grout. The floor, the fact that it is dark brown and I could still see the dirt and debris and the fact that no one has touched the floor in awhile, was disturbing. The bathroom door is coming apart, but it did lock, so that was a plus. The beds, well..... I can only hope that the reason the sheets wouldn't stay on the bed is because they were new and not put on correctly, but I really think they were not changed, I'm going to write this and then take a purell shower. My clothes are in the washer on HOT to burn off any creepy crud. I read the other reviews and I'm glad to see my experience was not far off from others. To be fair, the hotel was very quiet, I never heard anyone else. This is a plus, since it many kids' spring break. It could be because of the neighborhood crackheads visiting the gas station next door; I recommend arriving in the daylight, before they wake up. I made the mistake of arriving late last night (03/27/2024). It was very close to the interstate and was easily accessible. The ice machine on the 3rd floor is broken, but the one on the second floor worked well.

Service and check in great. The hotel was way too quiet. I music in the lobby, I could hear my neighbors. The bed was okay. Kinda creepy atmosphere. EV charger didn't work
