I could not be more pleased with my defense, things were looking pretty grim and on paper I understand why. But once Kristen A. Reynoso took control of the situation things turned out amazing and I was absolutely astonished, everything turned out better than should have been possible. She was professional, comforting, knowledgeable and very detail oriented. I felt like I was being defended by a family member who would have this kind of interest in making sure that I achieved the best possible outcome. Not only did I get an outcome that was beyond my belief, it was done in one simple hearing that she had scheduled before my actual hearing. And just like that everything was settled after months of me being in a mad panic and checking into attorneys. And with this much on the line, I was very picky. Then someone gave me a recommendation and after our first conversation in which she gave me almost an hour of her time I felt totally at ease and my decision was made. Kristen is who I wanted representing me. Like I said she was very comforting, a lot can go through ones mind when facing that kind of trouble. She made sure to let me know that I was in very good hands. Me being someone who suffers from anxiety attacks for her to be able to calm me down in just a few words and keep me from totally losing my mind was incredible. I knew that she meant what she said. Not only was she was able to live up to her words but pulled a surprise rabbit out of her hat and completely turned my case around to an unexpected outcome. I am very grateful to have had the honor of having Kristen A. Reynoso representing me. To say I highly recommend her would be an understatement. I found Kristen after having many doors being shut in my face. Every attorney completely agreed with me in regards to how the State Attorney's office absolutely failed my daughter after choosing to file her case without doing additional interviews of her. While the defendant admitted to the crime no less than three times, his attorney found a loophole. Instead of taking additional testimony from my daughter the State Attorney offered them a deal of a lifetime to dismiss the case if the defendant went into counseling. I met with supervisors to no avail. I decided to hire a private attorney to represent my daughter as the State had failed us. Kristen was compassionate with our situation and took on the task others said was just not their bailiwick. She did very thorough research on the subject at hand and made legal arguments that proved I was right in my thinking. Unfortunately, the State said "They would not now go back on their offer because they felt it was unethical to do so." I was and still am disgusted and haunted by that statement. We're not talking about stealing a car. We're talking about a crime committed on a child that should have been a slam dunk. All I can say, Kristen, is thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You climbed a mountain for us, and we will always be appreciative of your diligent efforts. You continued to give me new avenues to pursue so that we still got some form of justice so that anyone and everyone who pulls a report on him in the future will have an inkling of what he is capable of.
