Promised a amenity center when we purchased the home five years ago that never has been built. Now the statue of limitations for any legal action is up for me but hopefully the newer residents will take action. Even the different attorneys we have talked to said they never have seen anything like this. Tom Williams gets a F

I scream ditto at all the other reviews on Tommy Williams! Todd Lewis, Tommy Williams, and his daughter Ginny Patterson are getting rich by building homes and promising things that never come to pass. Now they've started clearing land for Phase 2 of Finley Woods while the piece of property left for the community pool and clubhouse sit in disarray with concrete and over-grown trees and grass overtop mounds of building dirt/debris. Why couldn't they go ahead and clear the land for the amenities while they have the vehicles there for all the clearing of Phase 2? Because they continue to lie and pacify us with pictures of renderings that have no permits pulled and they don't intend on doing anything. Don't build with them!

We were fortunate enough to purchase our home in the completed phase of a Tommy Williams community; we watched months of delays unfold in the development of a new phase of the neighborhood where we had originally considered purchasing. We were told once this new phase was complete, a beautiful neighborhood, pool, community center, amenities would be constructed. We have heard several excuses since that time as to why the team has had delays with building, or even clearing the area where construction would occur. There seem to be no delays, however, with clearing the neighboring woods to begin building new homes for sale.

Tommy Williams is the main home builder/developer for Finley Woods subdivision, a new community in SW Gainesville. While the homes are well-built and it's a great neighborhood, the developer has created a nightmare of broken promises. The worst of these unfulfilled promises is the six years of waiting for a pool and clubhouse that were advertised at the time we purchased in 2015-16. The barrage of ongoing excuses provided by the developer continue, with a new "promise" each year. Our annual "meetings" are staged and controlled so that little feedback is possible. My advice: RUN from any development proposed by Tommy Williams. Believe nothing.

Tommy Williams is the primary developer of the neighborhood Finley Woods - where I live. When I purchased my lot, I was never disclosed information about 2 and 3 story RENTAL building being built DIRECTLY behind my house on essentially a zero property lot line. Tommy Williams has told lie after lie after lie to residents of our neighborhood. Rentals going in behind a suburban residential family neighborhood...absolutely ridiculous. Our community has paid HOA fees of more than $1,000 a year PER HOME for the past 6 years with no amenity center in site. A permit has not even been submitted to city to BEGIN building. Yet, there is recorded verbal presentations of The expected date Tommy Williams Corporation was promising an amenity center. The land has not even been cleared for the building of the amenity center. Calls and emails remain unanswered. Do yourself a favor and do not buy or build with Tommy Williams. All you will hear is LIES! If I could give ZERO stars I would. Service: Project management
