I am deeply thankful for this curriculum, of which, as a student I completed grades 5 through 12. While there were many mistakes in the structure of the courses, such as grammatical errors, missing score key, etc. the content was sound. I learned so much Bible while using this curriculum that Bible college was a breeze! I am now about to start homeschooling my daughter, and I'm sure that we'll be using at least some of this curriculum through the years. I appreciate the stand Dr. Carter and his staff take on the King James Bible! What a blessing it is to have a safe place I can turn to for a Christian education for my kids!

We have homeschooled our three children for over 7 years now, and have one child in high school. My wife has a degree in Elementary Education, while I have a Master's in Ministry. We have used the Landmark curriculum for the entirety of the 7 years of homeschooling. Throughout these years, while the overall content of the material is biblically sound, the book work, tests, & quizzes are frustrating. Sometimes they will test on material the lessons did not cover. Many times, the tests do not match the test keys. We are not talking about a few errors here, but HUNDREDS for THREE grades (we have them documented). My wife and I contacted Landmark numerous times about these things, and were assured that they were correcting the issues. Seven years later, the problems persist. Granted, we have been given credit for helping them to fix their issues, and the staff has always been kind, but, as ministry workers ourselves, we do not have the time or energy to put up with these frustrations. As an author, I understand discrepancies, but also recognize the importance of fixing errors asap (especially when people are paying for the product, and educating children)! So, after putting up with Landmark during 7 years of promises (and enduring their high school material this year), I believe we are moving on. If you have the patience and time to put up with numerous inconsistencies & errors, the material is budget friendly, and they do give discounts to pastors.
