Hollywood Eye Institute: Shareen M. Greenbaum, M.D.

My husband used Dr Greenbaum for a cataract surgery. She insisted on doing the multi focal lens even though I was told he should only have the plain  she put in the wrong lens had to remove it, and then put in the plain lens. My husband is a breast radiologist, and now can no longer work. He suffers every day with her mistake later we found out that she was sued for doing stem cell surgery and making the person blind that person collected a lot of money but of course nobody can bring back sight   we are seniors, and too old to ruin the rest of our lives. In my opinion, this woman is only after money as she was selling Halloween contact lenses for $99. I don't think that's very professional. I just wanted to warn everybody before you made a mistake. We live with this mistake every day.

Dr. Greenbaum and Hollywood Eye Institute are amazing! Every experience I have had there has been efficient and professional as well as kind and compassionate. From the moment you arrive and the front desk staff greet you to the medical assistants, surgical coordinator and optometrist and of course Dr Greenbaum who care for your medical needs, everyone is fantastic! I have had everything from a routine eye exam to surgery and all procedure are thorough and thoughtful. I have had wonderful results and have recommended friends with no reservations!

This Place is amazing the staff is supper helpful and friendly always looking for your best interest. And the office is clean and organized. Also one important thing they stick to their appointments so you dont have to wait endless hours to see the doc which is also vey good.

Dr Shareen M Greenbaum gives her patients eye infections on purpose by not washing her hands and not using gloves in between patients. Her staff violated my hipaa rights. They should be in Jail!

I really don't know how to rate this since the doctors are fabulous but the optician sells me glasses that are too big for my face. She took me right to the high end frames. At the time I took pictures and sent them to my family and we all thought they looked too big and she assured me in pictures they look bigger. I went to pick them up and my eyes are lost in them. I refused them to be told NO REFUND but I can pick another frame and they will remake them. Do I trust them NO. Now it's up to the credit card company to intervene. What an inconvenience having to make extra trips. Don't use the optical shop unless you want to be sold something that isn't right for your face. BUYER BEWARE
