We hired Brogdon Builders to be our general contractor for our home remodeling project in 2021. We interviewed five different GCs before selecting Brogdon and were impressed by their work and responsiveness before being awarded the job. They were the most expensive of the GCs, however, the quality of work, professionalism, and responsiveness before, during, and after the completion of the project was worth it. They provided a fairly accurate estimate of our total cost even though there were a few change orders. Brogdon was on site almost every time we stopped by and was available to meet with us if needed. The sub-contractors they hired were very professional and the quality of their workmanship was second to none, the carpenter and tile installer are true artists and have the ability to foresee an issue in the design before installation. We would absolutely recommend Brogdon Builders and will use them again for our next house project.

Steve the contractor has been kind, good natured and responsive. We had minimum problems with very complex dental office conversion from a regular medical office. Even though he did not have the many dental office experience prior to ours, he brought right subcontractors to do the work, and every step of the way he made sure that we have what we needed. Brogdon Builders Review In mid August 2021, we finally began a complete gut and renovation of our kitchen that wed been designing for more than 8 months. Along with our designer we interviewed multiple contractors and in April 2021 we selected Brogdon Builders to bring our dream kitchen to fruition. Steve Brogdon, our general contractor, seamlessly coordinated multiple moving parts including his own trades as well as our design team, independent floor and tile installer, and cabinet installer (not his typical work model), demonstrating a professional flexibility that assisted in making this anxious period much less so. Steve can read a room and whenever he sensed stress levels rising, he jumped in to assuage any of our concernsand not just with smoke and mirrors but by taking positive steps to keep the project on track. The pandemic wreaked havoc with logistics, appliance delivery delays and subcontractors availability but Steve deftly led the team and persevered through these roadblocks. He held hands when needed and kept us focused on the present with a goal toward the finish line. Steve arranged for timely inspections at each critical milestone, all of which passed on initial inspection. He kept us informed with frequent site visits, phone calls, and text messages. The finished project is exactly as we envisioned it, with all equipment functioning perfectly, exceptional fit and finish, and on budget. Steves pleasant demeanor, expertise and uncanny ability to explain technical issues in a language we could understand helped us to make good decisions throughout the process. Steves team was meticulously tidy and showed great respect for the unaffected portions of the house for the duration of the industrial period. He covered all of our floors with ram board (not just paper) for added protection, covered non-removable furnishings and appliances in plastic and isolated rooms with heavy duty zippered plastic openings. These are expensive added touches that really make the difference in customer satisfaction. On the administration side, Cortney Brogdon provided regular updates on the budget and accurate accounting of the projects progress. Invoicing was timely, always in accordance with the contract terms, and there were NO surprises. We would not hesitate to select Brogdon Builders again for any future work, and we most strongly recommend them for your project.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with the Brogdon Builders team on our major home renovation. It was a large project and we were building our forever home, so we are very thankful we paired with a builder that was not only up for the job, but who obviously takes great pride in their work and cares deeply about the happiness of their clients. From beginning to end, we were happy with the process and truly enjoyed working with them.
