        My fight was pushed forward by 2 hrs so i arrived at JAX at 7:45am instead of 10am, the hotel was kind enough to allow me to check in at 8:30am instead of me having to wait until 4pm. Im very grateful for that and will stay at this hotel anytime i come back to Jacksonville. Staff was great, hotel seems to be in great condition and there is plenty of parking.

        I got to hang out at 1822 today and I received exceptional service. Alyssa kept checking in on me and my friends. We ordered several drinks and Sara delivered us our drinks. We received exceptional service and hope to visit again soon.

        Zero stars would be generous. We checked in after a long day of travel thinking we got a great deal on what is usually a solid brand. Wrong. We were greeted by the updated lobby which is an excellent example of lipstick on a pig and where the pleasantries ended. Ordered food from the bar to discover the cheese was moldy/fuzzy/green. Not just one section but the entire pizza was sprinkled in (overcooked) mold/cheese. Pulled back bed to find brown stained sheets. Overall the room was extremely dusty, outdated and just gave an overall unkept impression. Spend the extra 50$ or so for the Hilton even if only for a night. Comfort is worth it. If listeria and bodily fluids are your cup of tea book now. Will be reporting the restaurant to Disease Control in the morning.
