Bennett's Power Mowers

I took my classic Dixie Chopper into Bennett's, about 3 or 4 months ago because it was not running right. When I went to pick it up a week later, I was told that it had a new carburetor put on it, new belts,blades and was running right. After I got it home and realized it still wasn't running correctly I took it back I was keeping fresh 93 octane gas in it. But I was told it had bad gas. They also called me and told me I needed new belts, but I had also had new belts put on 4 months ago. So I just went and picked up my lawn mower again and they had a list of mile-long of things they claimed they had to do to it and charged me another 400 plus dollars. I have to come to realize, that Bennett's is nothing more than a rip-off shop. When I took the lawn mower back for the carburetor I asked the mechanic what he had to do, his response was all we had to put a carburetor on it, this was after I had already paid them because they told me they put a carburetor on it. Do you want me to keep going? I will never use Bennett's on Beaver Street in Jacksonville again for anything, Bennett's will never get a good referral from me. And if anyone asked if I know of a good lawn mower shop it certainly won't be Bennetts. Just adding to this, I got my lawn mower back on Thursday, after another $440 charge, guess what everyone. My lawn mower runs, but it won't idle down. I'm sure they would certainly be open to having me bring my lawn mower back again, that way they could get another three or four or five hundred dollars out of me. Over $200 in labor charges. You would think the mechanics would know what they were doing. Of course I guarantee you those mechanics aren't getting getting anywhere near the $100 an hour Bennett's power mowers is charging us. I'm so mad at these people I could spit nails. You did me wrong Bennett's power mowers. You know it and you are well aware of it. But I'm only one customer you'll lose today right! there will be other suckers role in your door, unfortunately! I promise you, it wont be me. You've gotten the last dollar of mine, that you will ever get!
