Jacksonville 1 VA Clinic

I gave 3 stars because I like my doctor's and the people that work there. And usually have good experiences when I'm there. One time I had a blood lab and the lady was a little unprofessional doing a lot of talking and dancing around, but then she stuck me painlessly and with ease first shot like a Pro, so I figure as long as she good at her job does it really matter? This VA biggest problem is the phones and the people that answer the phones, and also it needs a parking garage badly. 10 years ago the current parking lot was fine, it's not now, I had to park in the housing projects across the road last time I went. Which I'm young so it wasn't that bad, but I'd hate for my granddad to have to walk a mile and have to park in the projects if he had to go ya know. I've been to better VA clinics and I've been to worse. A 3 is what this one is.

I dont normally go to the Jacksonville VA but when I do it leaves me wishing I waited until I could get in with my PCP. A veteran shouldnt have to go through so much to receive care regardless to if theyre traveling or not. On a positive note theres not a long wait for X-rays.

I have always received great care for this VA facility. My Doctor cares about my well being , staff is friendly and helpful. Recommended the Red team.

The clinic is fine. The parking is awful.
