My parents where wanting to have their bathroom remodeled during the later part of last year. Since they are a bit older I was helping them select a company to go with and helping take care of the details. I had spoke with a few companies and got some estimates before we ended up in River City kitchen and baths show room. We were greeted by the owner, Daniel who asked us a few questions about what we were looking for. We ended up setting a time up for him to come out, take some measurements and come up with an estimate and a design. The design that they came up with was our favorite, and although River City wasn't the cheapest, they explained exactly where the added cost was and why they were a bit pricier than the other estimates that we had gotten. I'm a firm believer in getting what you pay for and as long as I know why I'm paying more, I'm OK with it, especially if it's something that I need to last. He told us that due to product shortages, that it would take approximately 3 months to start the job. That seemed like a long time, however checking around, that seemed to be about right, at least for this day and age. The work crews got to the house and seemed to work diligently. At the end, there was still some stuff that we were waiting on. The job was like 98 percent done, just a couple of small items that they were waiting for from the distributor. As soon as they came in Daniel himself came to finish everything up and now the bathroom looks amazing! I wish I had the extra cash for me to get my own bathroom done. Before I wrote this review I read some of the other reviews and I have to say, my experience definitely doesn't line up with some of these negative reviews. All the River City kitchen and bath staff that I've talked to have been extremely professional. It would lead me to believe that some of these people might have some unrealistic expectations/demands, which again, in this day and age wouldn't surprise me.
