H&R Block

I left 15 minutes after my appointment time and still hadn't seen anyone or even been told how long the wait would be. I think it's discourteous to just assume your client can wait as long as you need him to. This is business...we had an appointment. The lady at the front was nice.

Arrived at my appointment 15 minutes early and was not greeted nor acknowledged by anyone, we had to seek someone. We were to have an appointment today at 3:30pm with Vicki Kelter, and I'd called prior to the appointment to see what documents were needed for this point to be told VERY rudely that even though we drove an hour could not be completed. In addition, when I tried to ask a question, as she scattered back to her office. This establishment needs better communications with their clients.

I thought I had covered all bases in advance of our relocation to Florida, including an accountant to handle our complicated, multi-state, multi-member partnership tax returns - until a fatal error threatened to completely destroy our otherwise sterling record with the IRS. Where to turn? Turns out most accounting firms are already flush with complicated business returns to service. But little did I know the capable bench of accountants at H&R Block who were qualified and experienced with corporate returns just like mine. Indeed, Vicki Kelter, of H&R Block on Merrimac Avenue in Jacksonville, happily rolled up her sleeves and plowed through several hundred pages of prior returns and ever expanding depreciation schedules. Vicki demonstrated the knowledge and experience to anticipate every plausible complication. This was not a case of wait-and-see if we need to submit requests for filing extensions - BANG, out they went! Our four tax returns filed on time - our federal refund some $800 more than I'd anticipated - I realize now why H&R Block has been succeeded for decades. They more than satisfy clients like me by pairing me up with Vicki, a talented accountant who knows what I specifically need - who in turn has access to hundreds of tax centers and decades of institutional knowledge. They certainly satisfied us. I have no doubt in their ability to stay abreast of whatever the taxing agencies hurl our way. They can satisfy you, as well.
