I am not coming back and will not recommend key west to anyone because of the greeting we got at sunset near Mallory square. We staked out our spot on the pier an hour before sunset. 10 minutes before sunset someone comes up and stand behind us with a dog that starts howling at the sun. Apparently the dog insists on coming down to the pier at sunset. And they do this often. My wife asked if that is necessary. The greeting we got was welcome to Key west and if you dont like find someplace else. We will not come back. Since this person does this often you should tell him to not behave that way and perhaps band the the dog from the dock or fine him. Not because of the dog but because of the persons attitude.and response to find another location.

The woman at the front desk was very, very helpful. She called the Kw transit for us to find out where the closest bus stop was so we could get back to Marathon. Then gave good directions to get there. Great customer service!

Gladys is a gem! Everyone needs to stop at the Chamber and say hi! She loves her city and loves helping people! Today is 10/31/2021 and she turns 81! Happy Birthday Gladys!
