Today 10/17/23 at my lunch time around 1:30PM, I went to Dave lawnmower service to buy a carburetor for my lawnmower. The owner assuming "Dave" an older guy with grey hair came out eating a tomato. I showed him the carb I had and asked him if he had the same carburetor. He looked at it and said its Brigs and Stratton, and went to get one. When he came back he said $60. I told him I wasn’t expecting to pay that much especially the same carb was selling for $15 -$20 on Amazon. He immediately got angry and in a loud tone of voice stated "you go ahead and buy that cheap shit from china" I asked him to why he was angry with me. He said, I am not angry you just go ahead by online. I said, let’s start over how about I buy couple of gaskets from you so I can fix it myself. He said, I don’t have gaskets. I replied you operate a lawnmower repair shop and you don’t have gaskets. He said, no. I then said, why don't you tell the truth and say I don’t want to sell you the gaskets. He said, "I don't want to sell you the gasket, buy them online too”. What a jerk. What happened to customer service? Anyhow, I would NOT recommend this shop to my worst enemy. STAY clear people, you have been warned.

I called this guy to see about a part for my lawn mower. I got the part out, called him back. He said "I TOLD YOU I HAVE EVERY STARTER SOLENOID FOR ALL 25 MANUFACTURERS. I THOUGH I MADE THAT CLEAR WHEN YOU CALLED EARLIER!" I told him before I drove 30 minutes I wanted to get a price, but with his attitude, I'll wait until Monday when the shops closer to me are open. I WILL NOT do business with this guy.
