image I needed reassuring and the dentist and dental hygienist played a great role as my advocate and took the time to explain the importance of having the procedure. They received an A+ in helping to reduce anxiety before and during the procedure.

image My family have been patients here for 20+ years. The care is superior from reception to hygenist to the dentist. The cleanliness at this office has always been superior however since COVID-19 it has been exceptional. If youre looking for a new dental office, check it out you will not be disappointed.

image I love my dentist there, Dr Parajon he is the only dentist I have felt comfortable with in years. That is the only reason why I go there. I can not say that for one of his dental assistants. I will not name names but she is very condescending with me every time I go into the office. I went to ask her advice on Thursday and did not even get 5 words out of my mouth because I was asking what part would she recommend he do next. She says we are not doing that. I said what do you mean? I did not even ask you the actual question yet. She said, I referred you out to a surgeon for that work. Then I said no the Dr has agreed to to do the work because I can not afford the surgeon. She said something like no he just did this pard you have to go to the surgeon for the rest. He even said have the girls scheduled for this part(I was pointing to a section on my lower left). She says well I was not here so I dont know what he said. Its always a fight with her. It was like she was mad, she just storms off like she dismisses me. I didnt know if I was done in the room or not so I just walked up to the front. I dont know what her issue is with me but I really do not want that girl working on my mouth.

image Worst experience ever! Don't go there if you don't want to get tricked.
I have no complaints against Dr Parajon but unfortunately, he is not the only person working at this establishment.
For my last visit for cleaning, I had an appointment that was scheduled 6 months beforehand; of course, I had in my wallet the little reminder card they give their patients. When I arrived at the office, surprisingly, there was no appointment. Apparently, someone made a mistake and my appointment was not registered in their schedule. I was not able to get my cleaning done that day. The worst thing is that I did not even get an apology from Kim (the person at the front desk at the time), as clearly it was an error on their end. She tried to get the blame on me because I didn't get the text message with the appointment reminder the day before, even after I showed her the reminder card with the current date. I was given another appointment almost a month ahead. That was an initial red flag.
Then, on the day of the appointment, I was given some X-rays that were done 6 months before. When I was handed out the estimation, it was not noted in any sense. According to the estimation, my responsibility would have been $0 for that procedure. I believe the person in charge did not notice that it was done 6 months before. They claim, in the webpage, that they provide help with customer insurance by verifying the insurance as a complimentary service, which in this case was an obvious failure on their side. They not only did the procedure twice in a year, they failed to estimate the correct amount.
As a result of that, I got a surprise invoice in my mail a couple of months later with the balance of those x-rays that my insurance company rejected. When I spoke with one of their agents, I argued that the mistake was in part on their side, since they estimated the wrong amount, considering they have my whole dental record. The person said it was just my responsibility and my only option was to talk with my insurance company. I said I was going to do that, and I would get back to them. When I talked with my insurance company, they explained the rejection reason was that the procedure was done twice, but they only accept it once a year. Also, they assured my dental provider should have known about this restriction since it is stipulated in their EOB.
When I got back to them, they had already sent the invoice to collections, which I consider was a bad faith move, since I thought they were going to wait for my call after I talked with my insurance company. Every time I tried to explain Steven what my insurance company said, he responded in a very rude way that I owe that money, and they did not do anything wrong. That same week, I received a lot of calls from the collector company trying to get information from me like my address or my name. After 2 weeks of this type of calls, I decided to pay the amount and forget about this bad experience as my mental health is more valuable.
In summary, they are unable to apologize when they evidently make mistakes. They are not going to be crystal clear about the procedures they are going to do. They will go after you if they mess up with the estimation and will conveniently argue it is all on you. They will go behind your back if you have a pending balance that you try to fix.
Lesson learned: this company is not close to trustworthy. I should have learned the first time I got the red flag. When someone messes things up and is unable to accept it, just go away.
Now, it makes no sense to have a standard apologize response that will not change my opinion about this place. This company has one more disappointed customer. I just hope I can help someone get away from this unethical business.
