Parwick Kennels

My dogs stayed there for four days. When I picked them up they each were wet which I assumed they got bathe. One dog had 500 ticks and passed away 6 months later. The other dog had 40 ticks. The place is disgusting and so is the owner Gail. My second dog is retired from the Pasco Sheriffs Office. eragon served 9 years and now Gail is refusing to allow any of the retired K9 funds pay for his medical bills. Beware when you donate to the spooky tails sheriffs office retired k9 charities. Because the retired K9s are not received the funds

We had an introduction appointment today at 4:30 p.m. when I was greeted with "What time are you supposed to be here?" by whom I assume was the owner. Surprised at her demeanor I responded 4:30 p.m. to which she said "No, you're supposed to be here at 5. Go back to your car and I will be with you in a few minutes" Needless to say I went back to my car and immediately left. I also contacted our veterinarian who has Parwick as one of their Land O Lakes kennel referrals to let them know of our experience. They profusely apologized to me as they know me very well but were not particularly surprised at my experience. She will no longer be receiving any referrals from them either.

I have been going to this kennel for past 6 years. She affordable but also takes the time to work with you and you dog. She care for your animals. They are not just a number on a paper for her. I can give a call check in on my dog and know this person has taken the time to know who my dog is. Accepts large dogs that other places will up charge and other places don't have the right personnel that can handle an understand dogs. Cares for your relationships with your pups. Takes the time to even give helpful tips of training for you. I am progressional dog trainer that has worked with her for years. Dogs that she could have easily just turned down she took the time with the owners to try to help them out. So you have a better peace of mind when you drop off your pup and travel and your dog has a great time coming to the kennel.
