Bagatelle Mykonos

A great restaurant on Mykonos with a great atmosphere!! In addition, Bagatelle has quite a few French servers so its always a pleasure abroad!

Great place and ambience, the food was decent but a bit weird

Obviously people go to Bagatelle for the vibe and not the food but our overall experience here was just bad. We came for dinner on a Saturday night at 9pm as a group of eight, and the atmosphere was quite subdued different to other Bagatelle establishments which are more party (we shouldve checked before coming; there are lots of reviews noting the lack of party atmosphere). The vibe here is very much a calm dinner affair if thats what youre looking for... However, the food and drink were incredibly expensive, as expected in Mykonos, but just bad. Mykonos is expensive but I dont mind paying if the experience is actually good, which it wasnt here. For example the truffle pasta (special of the night which half the group had) was tasteless and required a lot of salt to just be edible. The service was incredibly poor the restaurant wasnt very busy, and we saw a lot of servers running about, but it took ages to get any service (e.g. our wine glasses were left empty and required topping up a lot of the time). Save your money and go elsewhere for better food and atmosphere.
