We had an old-style kitchen ceiling with Plex wall panels. Tella Builders replaced it with drywall, and we provided them with the LED recessed ceiling lights. The ceiling wall was finished with flat paint and looks so updated. Excellent job!

This is the worst experience ever. We hired this company to redo our master bath to prepare for our senior years. At first they seem to be listening, getting the appropriate measurements for shower head height, seat width and height, sill width and height. These were our must haves for the remodel.
He gave us the square footage for the tile purchase, it was wrong. It was less than what we calculated. We purchased what we thought was right, 4 extra boxes of tile, and they used every one. When the wall tiles were up, about 3 inches on top did not have a wall behind it! Kevin said no problem it will be perfect when it’s done, my concern was why would you put up tile where there’s no wall. The shower head was way taller than we asked, by a foot. The shower floor was not level, there was standing water. Spoke with Kevin and he asked for payment of the “installed tile”, which would be 15% more making our total 95% of the total price, and we said no, fix the problem first. Instead of removing the entire floor like they said to fix the pitch, they only removed half. Leaving the shower still not draining properly and the tile not matching. He asked for the payment again. We told Kevin we were done with him and will only speak to the owner. Ben called wanting the payment, threatening to place a lien, and for us to hold the last 5 % or 700.00 of the final payment until the repairs are completed. We said no, (they would never come back for 700.00) there will be no payment until the tile is addressed. He asked if he could come to the house to look at the shower, we agreed. He still insisted he needed the 15% payment to repair the shower because in the contract it say’s 15% upon completion of tile install, whether it’s right or not. Then when they do the final walk through they address the problems and come back to make repairs. He insisted on taking pictures (so he can say he finished the project …) we said no. He started to become angry, so we said thank you for coming but please just leave now. He refused to leave, yelling for us to pay him his money, we had to threaten to call the police due to his alarming behavior. We found the shower drain requires the drain to be moved closer to the center or about 10 - 12” away from the wall to allow for proper drainage as well as the pitch in the floor fixed. The drain was never moved from the former tub location. To say the least this is not over but we can’t allow a third time to get the job done right. And there’s so much more.
