Life House, Little Havana

I missed my connection flight so I was looking for a last minute hotel for the night. I can say that I am highly satisfied with my short stay over there and definitely will come back next time Im in Miami . Room was clean staff was pleasant professional and helpful and they have a very nice rooftop bar. Nice boutique hotel ! Highly recommend!

What a little gem. Everything is placed on purpose and although it looks old fashioned you find the latest tech surrounding. Rooms: Oldfashioned and stylish but modern Walkability: 20 minutes to the bank Center

The staff at the Life House was terrific, very knowledgeable and helpful, the room was pleasant and clean, and the Terras restaurant had great views and a reasonable menu (note that it's closed Mondays). Great location for exploring Calle Ocho on foot. Easy 25 min walk to the Brickell Metrorail so very simple to get to Miami Airport.

This is Hemingwayesque. When you enter this hotel, you smell the most enchanting aroma. Sergio is most attentive and helpful. You are minutes from Little Havana and can walk to dine, dance, drink caf Cubano, my drink of choice. This is the place to stay. Clean. Safe. No frufru or frills. Wash cloths only upon request. Only for serious travelers who venture out of four walls and don't require useless amenities. So good to fall into this bed after leaving a local emergency room on 3April after 3 a.m. Softest and most enveloping bed. Rooms: Rooms immaculate. Excellent location for walking. Safe to walk at night or early morn. Little Havana, Ball and Chain, coffee shops, restaurants, dancing, shops, laundromat, minutes away. Nearby activities: Pequea Havana, Calle Ocho, La Colada Gourmet, Olds Havana, Domino Park, Dollar Store, CVS, bakeries and MORE. Safety: Super safe. Police, really good looking, on horseback. Everyone walks in rain or sun. Bring umbrella. Walkability: Bring good walking shoes. I lost 13 pounds in one week. I love to walk. And drink caf Cubano. Noteworthy details: Less than 10 minutes via Uber from Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Emergency Room open 24 hours, thanks to God and highly competent and dedicated staff. Real guardians on call.
