Miami Zoning Office

This is absurd. There is 0 people working here, as someone who works in real estate and has short term rentals I need to be in contact and there is nobody there and when they do call you they do not have any answers to your questions.

This office is pathetic! Good luck talking to someone and resolving issues. In 40 years I have never come across such an unprofessional know-nothing office from the moment I walked in their office until I departed. No one answers voicemails nor do they answer emails. I wish anyone visiting this office the best luck possible! You are going to need it!

must say this has been a terrible experience for my husband my husband was treated rudely by a specialist she sits in the 2 square cubicle Ms gaitan and I understand u guys dont attend after 2:30 but her attitude was very nasty we were in the lobby waiting since 1pm and did not leave zoning department until 3:30 she did not want to help us with our CU which it is assigned to her please get more experienced specialist I will also be taking this to the city managers office

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service provided by the Zoning Department. The department's phone line is ineffective, with no one answering calls despite multiple attempts. When I visited the department in person, it was empty at 12:30 pm and there was no assistance available. The department's website lacks transparency, making it difficult to contact the responsible person for customer service, Denise and Terran never reply to our calls or call back.This lack of responsiveness is frustrating. Business owners require timely certificates of use, but the department's inefficiency has caused delays and a lack of support. Despite requesting inspections three times, I have received no follow-up or acknowledgment. Taxpayers and fee-paying citizens deserve better service. 1 hour break for Lunch at 12:30 when the office closes at 2:30 pm is questionable when no other customer support besides Latashia is available so you have to delay, wait and DIY. Looks like there is a lack of funding provided to this department or a HHRR concern about the commitment of elected officials to support this essential service. I kindly request that government and dade county department in charge of this department addresses these issues and takes appropriate action to improve the performance of zoning.
