Diana at Reading Rescue Centers is amazing! My daughter had struggled with reading and reading comprehension for years. After going to numerous tutors and Doctors, Diana was able to identify the issue during her evaluation. Within eight months she had taught my daughter two years worth of missing phonics skills. My daughter finally likes reading and for the first time was able to finish all of the sunshine state readers. Diana's expertise and skill-set is invaluable and second-to-none. 2 kids and over 2 years with Diana and the results are nothing short of miraculous. My children struggled in all areas; decoding, comprehension, site words. Being Covid kids, phonics not being taught like it should; left things looking very bleak. Diana was amazing from day 1. My son was a year and half behind when we meet Diana; with Dianas program he was on grade level in 7 months. Both kids are master decoders and leaps and bounds above their class on the rules of the English language. I recommend Diana to anyone and everyone who struggles with reading or just needs the extra support. 2 years ago if you told me my kids would be excelling and meeting all their goal at school I wouldnt have believed you. Diana was the missing piece and now she has given my kids all the support and tools they need to succeed. I cannot recommend her program enough! Absolutely Amazing!!!!

We were really struggling with teaching our daughter the basics of reading for years. She was very resistant to learn and seemed like no matter how hard we tried, she would flip her letters around and have trouble retaining what she learned. She dreaded the thought of school, and it kept getting worse year after year. We took her to a neuropsychiatrist and they diagnosed her with ADHD and dyslexia. Now that we had that information, we werent sure what to do with it. Luckily, my wife found Reading Rescue and signed her up. My daughter is the age of a second grader but her reading skill level was that of early stage kindergarten when we started with Reading Rescue. Diana said she could have her at a 2nd grade level in a few months. That sounded way too good to be true to me, but we had hope and had nothing to lose. The first session with Diana I could see the magic happen. Diana has so many years of experience, relates to the struggles the children are having, and has far more patience than my wife and I. Within a few sessions, our daughter was sounding out words. Within a few weeks she was reading full sentences and getting through short books. We are excited to see our daughter grow and gain even more confidence with reading in the next few months. I cannot recommend Reading Rescue enough, it surely has rescued us!

Naples has very few Orton-Gillingham trained teachers or tutors. If your child has dyslexia, Diane and Reading Rescue should be one of the first places you call!
