It's been a few months since we visited SCAN but I wanted to leave a review about the our experience. We had to take our dog to the ER vet on a Sunday night. They decided we needed to get him into SCAN ASAP so they called Dr. Kelly Sunday and she took us in Monday mornng at 9am. They took such care of him while he was there and made sure he was comfortable while he waited for an MRI. She called after the MRI and gave us several options. We elected not to do surgery at that time and just stuck to crate rest and some good meds. After 2 weeks we saw her again and she made us feel like we had made the right decision and we would continue with the same plan for 2 more weeks. Today Fletcher is doing amazing - walking, playing, etc. and using his stairs to get on and off the couch. We felt like Dr. Kelly was there to guide us help us make the same decision she would have made for her pet. While I hope nobody has to take their pet in for a serious illness or injury, but if you do, please know that they will treat you with the up most compassion.

Dr. Carnes is extremely thorough, and quickly determined the root of our dog's problem. She made everything easy for us to understand too. We are looking forward to continuing our dog's treatment with her.
