If you are in need of a criminal attorney, Denise is not the one for you. I retained her to represent my son and all she did was take my money. She always made excuses in regards to illness, when my son was scheduled to be in court, in return she would send her secretary Heather to be at court in her absence. I'm not the person to give people or businesses a bad review, but would like to save someone's time and money. My son is facing serious charges and because of her negligence something that could have been resolved in months has taken over a year, as she did a poor job on depositions.

I spent at least an hour on the phone with her and her maybe partner they seemed very caring and concerned about my case and wanted to help me. I immediately hired her without research (mistake) she sent over papers to sign through email, That was November 10, 2021. I hadnt heard from either of them for over almost 2 months, I emailed and called without any response. So I thought they were a scam and fake (who wouldnt right). I informed them both on my suspicions and finally I got a response from Ms Gunn. It was then that she even did anything on my case. She immediately asked about my remaining $750 balance which I thought was crazy because I didnt see any progress. So more time goes by and its now May 2022. I havent heard 1 word from her about my case so I continue to try to communicate over and over until she finally calls me and says she has good news for me but she needs to get her schedule and my final 750 payment. I had a second conversation with her since hiring and it seemed promising so I paid that day!! Once again I never got any update on my case that was promised and once again its impossible to speak with her!!! Phone calls, emails, texts, no communication! So I think I really should have done research. I hope no one has to go through a divorce and than have an attorney that has no communication or anyone else that works for her that could communicate on her behalf. Save yourself the grief and hire someone that actually does work for you. 8 months 2 conversations, 1 filing and $1500! I missed the deadline to even file for anything else like alimony because to much time has passed. She really had me thinking she wanted to help me. Soo sad. I wish I could go back and hire a different attorney. I filled out something online and she contacted me so I thought it was legit.

Don't know really how to word this. But in the beginning everything was going good with this lawyer. She'd respond to my text, I'd call and she'd call me back. Anyhow it took 6 months to get a court date. After the over the phone court date she immediately calls me and tells me it was a slam dunk and that we won the case over. That everything went in our favor. Payments were stopped from being taken out of my check for about 2 months. Then all of a sudden I get a letter from my employer saying that they were taking the same amount as before. This case was supposed to be closed and resolved. And it was not. So now trying to get a hold of Mrs gun seems impossible. She no longer responds to my phone call or texts. Just trying to get basic information and find out exactly what's going on is impossible, she absolutely will not get back to me. Don't know if I need to hire another lawyer to deal with the same case. But that's what it's seems like. At first she was such a nice person seemed so sweet and caring. But now that she's paid off she does not get back in contact with me to let me know what's going on on a case that I hired her for. This is extremely upsetting and disappointing. Till this day I'm hoping she resolves this issue that I hired her for. And when she does I will change my rating on her. But as of now it's a very low rating from me. Please Mrs Gunn, get in contact with me to resolve this issue..

I have such mixed reviews about my experience with this law firm. I spent every bit of one hour on the phone with Miss Gun discussing the possibility of her representing me in a case. She was very attentive and sympathetic to my situation and it seemed that the conversation between us flowed very comfortably. The conversation of my case went so well that I thought she was going to take my case. I never asked her at the end of the conversation if she would take my case and perhaps that was a mistake on my part. This law firm never returned any of my phone calls from that day forward not even to tell me that were not going to take my case. Naturally I was extremely disappointed not only in the fact that they did not take my case, but for the mere fact that they never responded to my voice message or emails.
