Storm Smart

Glad I didn't purchase from storm smart. My community did. It's been 6-7 months the motor has been broken on 4 or 5 curtains. They are a constant no show and sorry can't help you yet

purchased 3 rolldown screens just 5 years ago. One screen had to be replaced n/c one year later due to incorrect installation, then same screen required service 6 month later due to a roll up issue. Same screen developed a sticking problem and lowers only with manual help. The service tech who came to inspect/correct this now states that the fabric is too tight and has shrunk in his opinion due to weather condition. The other two screens exposed to the same weather show no problem. According to tech the only way to correct the problem is to replace the entire screen. The product is advertised for the Florida market. If the tech's statement is true that means that Storm Smart is selling/installing an inferior product not suitable for the Florida market!

Storm Smart was the company selected after a thorough review of 10 similar companies. The sales team was professional and thorough and very responsive. Installation was done as scheduled and very professionally. We are very pleased with the results.

I usually don't write a review but I thought in this case I needed to, especially with the amount hurricane windows cost. The experience with Storm Smart from the salesman, to the people scheduling the job and especially the two installers was fantastic! I cannot praise the two gentlemen that removed and installed the windows enough! They cleaned up each day, they kept my wife and I informed what they did or going to do, and they were on time. They cleaned the windows when they were done... they were fantastic! However, the company used to repair and paint the stucco was subpar. I will not provide that company's name. I believe Storm Smart needs to address that part of this review. The stucco company left chunks of hard stucco in my yard where they cleaned their tools, around the base of my house was the stucco that had fallen as it was applied, and the patch work was not blended to the original house stucco. Windows touched by the workers were left with their prints. I contacted the stucco company several times without getting any satisfaction, and an email was sent to our Storm Smart salesman but we did not get a response. Again I want to reiterate, Storm Smart and especially their window installers were fantastic and I would recommend Storm Smart in the future. However, I believe Storm Smart needs to take a look at their stucco subcontractor. Service: Hurricane impact window installation
