Amanda Drebsky - Citizens Bank, Home Mortgages

Amanda was the loan officer for my wife and I during our home buying process last fall. Everything was relatively fine during the buying process, although she clearly was not familiar enough with Citizens processes to be able to communicate them effectively. There was a discrepancy in the interest rate we were offered, with Amanda claiming that we would receive a lower rate if we opened and linked a Citizens checking account for our mortgage payments. We opened and linked the account, yet the rate drop never showed. Now, we are paying a rate higher than what we agreed to, with the difference being well over $10,000 over the coarse of the loan. Amanda either did not know what she was talking about or she intentionally misled us in order to generate more business for Citizens. Initially, Amanda attempted to be helpful but has completely ghosted us since February and left us on the hook with this. The biggest issue here is the complete lack of communication weve had from her since raising this issue. She has shown that she does not care about her clients, does not know what she is doing, and does not deserve to do business with honest people. My wife and I are currently considering legal action to rectify the situation. I would leave no stars if it were possible, and I encourage anyone reading this to avoid working with Amanda Drebsky.
