Gulfshore has set a new standard in how an animal hospital should be run and I will be forever spoiled! We were coming to Naples with our brand new puppy (we live here part time) and I knew I would need a new vet in the area. They had many recommendations on Nextdoor and Yelp, were conveniently located, and had AHAA accreditation which means they have to meet certain benchmarks of care. Not all animal hospitals achieve this. When you are a new patient, your animal will get a wallet sized ID card with their name and picture, rabies tag number, microchip number, and your information on the front, and then on the back, there is a replica of Gulfshore's business card with their contact information. This is so useful if you are traveling or your animal ever gets away from you. My first encounter was a phone call with an extremely friendly and knowledgeable man, Tim, who made us feel so welcome. Tim was the first person to greet us when we arrived for our initial visit as well. He has assisted us with so many administrative tasks, such as emailing documentation to our insurance company, and he has had good advice. Mckenzie is the other smiling face at the desk and on the phone who has gone above and beyond to make us feel like family. I arrived an hour late due to the time zone change on my Google calendar when we first got here, and although it had to be so annoying, you would never have known. They still figured out a way to fit us in. Mckenzie always greets our puppy and goes the extra mile to give us records, receipts and get us seen when needed. The vet techs/vet nurses are really incredible. I cannot say enough about them. Your pet will be in great hands with their care. They are so knowledgeable and give great guidance--my little girl has had many blood draws--sometimes 3 a week--and she is still not afraid to go there. That means they are treating her very well. Thanks to Lisa, Dina, Kelly, Chris and everyone else who has helped my puppy. Nail trims have been perfect and my pup thinks Gulfshore is her second home. Finally, the vets. To me, it is important to go to a practice with enough vets so that they have time to see you. Dr Denni Cook has been our primary provider and she is incredible. I have never had a vet email and call me with detailed clinical information to help us make treatment decisions. I really respect her knowledge patience, her gentleness with our puppy, and the time spent giving us options about treating a condition our dog might have. Dr Randt was also amazing when we needed her on a weekend that my puppy decided to eat rocks. She sat down with me and had a stepwise plan to monitor her, plus she gave me a CD with the imaging that I could take to the emergency vet after hours if anything changed. I felt that she cared for our dog as if it were her own. Both vets we have worked with have been so caring and smart. Finally, the facilities are clean and my appointments have been on time. There is great communication by text, email and the PetDesk App. I have nothing but praise and give Gulfshore Animal Hospital my highest recommendation and feel so lucky to have found them. (We may have to move here permanently, just for GSAH!)
