Beautiful resorts. Love the new upgrades and the area is great. Sounds like the previous reviewer doesn't know how Interval works. Not all units are exchanged out. They could be empty rentals. Sounds like she exchanged out a one bedroom and that is what they had equal to that. With any timeshare you exchange into you should really do your research and call ahead.

This Interval International (aka: II) Exchange, at the Redington Ambassador (aka:RA) was the smallest most uncomfortable room. II said it was a suite w no bedroom( In past stays, this turned out to be a comfortable hotel-sized room (w/ one or two beds plus a small kitchen & bathroom). NOT this time. RA put us in a tiny third bedroom attached to a much larger suite that was locked off from our room. Our room was under 300 square feet (total!). It was so small that we couldn't even open the entry door while sitting at kitchen table. The refrigerator was a college dormroom size. And kitchen sink wasn't large enough to wash a full plate! The one window looked over a parking lot w/ a portapotty and work trucks below. We asked to be upgraded to a larger room (before we checked in) & were told upgrades must be done through II . II claimed upgrades were up to the location. The next day we went to the office front-desk to check in & request a larger room. The woman argued that they were FULL (&, if we upgraded, it would cost the full $1500 for the week). So we just remained in our tiny claustrophobic room. THE WOMAN LIED. Over the entire week we counted 6 unoccupied rooms just on our wing!). And the suite that we were attached to was one of the unoccupied rooms! This empty spacious suite was attached to our tiny one (see pic w open door to suite on left and open door to our room on right) . We looked inside to see an actual living room space, a kitchen & two bedrooms (Our room was the size of the smaller kid-sized bedroom in this room#107-suite ..their bathroom was even larger than ours. Not only did the woman lie about availability, she acted like RA was doing us a favor by 'allowing us' to stay w/ them. I even had to plead for an extra pillow since she said only one pillow per guest was allowed. My husband asked if they had an ice machine (since our refrigerator's freezer's ice tray only makes 6 small ice cubes!), & she curtly replied "We don't do that". The Murphy Bed's wooden frame (our only bed) was too large for the tiny room, giving us little space btwn the frame & dresser, which meant us banging our shins on the corners. I still have multiple bruises on my shins (ouch!) My husband's only positive statement was that the towels were so rough that they were good back scratchers! (fyi: The one closet, for clothes, wasn't big enough to fit a regular-sized suitcase. Other closet was for AC and utilities....Hence, the suitcase had to be put on dresser and next to bed) Location was fine. It's just walking distance from the beach like most of the places in the area. There were plenty of avaibilities (probably due to the Red Tide making the water still unswimmable & the air, when the winds blew, made us cough. I would highly recommend AGAINST STAYING @ the Redington Ambassador. Personally, I wouldn't become an owner to such a place (since I believe you're only as good as the way you treat your guests. And theirs was shameful.) Interval International.. since you claim you aren't aware of the exchange room sizes & condition... I am letting you know. You should take them off your list of exchange locations. This room was rediculously tiny, the woman lied about availability for upgrades and the one worker, in the office on Sunday & Wednesday, treated us like we were an annoyance. There are hundreds of places to stay in this & surrounding areas. I'm certain there are more gracious & accommodating ones in which to stay. I would've given this room '0 stars' w/ review if it were accepted. Better reviews are either Owners or paid reviewers. Stay away from this place. (Note to II: I have many people ask me if I am satisfied with Time Sharing and is it worth buying in with you. ***I was exchanging my spacious suite w/ a kitchen & 1 bedroom in AtlanticCity, NJ...w/ views of the ocean & harbor. If this is what you offer, for exchanges, then what do you think I will tell them?) 0ct 27 -Nov3 _rm#107A
