This office is a complete debacle from the moment you call them... something is very wrong here

Evelyn, Dr. Waldman, and all the staff (RNs, MAs, Stress/Echo staff, Front desk, Scheduling) have all been truly amazing! So welcoming and thorough with the care and service they give. I have recommended several family and friends come here and all have had wonderful experiences with the treatment and care they received. Pay no mind to the two negative reviews here as they do not represent the majority. They both sound like personal (and individual) situations/problems. I have been coming to this office for years and so have several other people I know... and they all love this office and the people that work here! Trust your heart to no other. Go here and go see Dr. Waldman and his team, you wont regret it! And your heart will thank you!

If you need a test, READ CAREFULLY... I needed a heart ultrasound, and I was told to call and ask for the price since it would differ between the hospital and the office. So I called but could not reach anyone and left a voice message. After months of trying & leaving voice messages, finally, someone called (this detail will become important) and told it would cost $300 at Dean Rd office or $1800 at the hospital (the one on W Colonial). So I picked the office instead of the hospital as any sane person would do. The test was done, and several weeks later, I received an $1800 bill!! And this was the start of 5 months of phone battle! I called and explainedthe situation; I was asked who I talked with from which department. However, even if the person gave me her name and department, I did not remember it a month later. So instead, I gave them the exact date & time of the phone call and asked them to listen to the call recording (since it was mentioned thatall the calls were recorded). I filed a dispute, and we had phone calls for months to solve this problem. Somehow they could not find it, or did not like the content and acted as it is missing, and in the end, I had no choice but paid 6 TIMES more than I was supposed to because of THEIR EMPLOYEE'S FAULT. But since I did not record the conversation, I had no proof. So I asked for a discount over all the problems, and I was given a $530 discount. I paid $1270 over the phone and thinking finally thiswas over (Althoughit wasn't fair,I just wanted to get rid of this nightmare). I specifically asked for a written statement of "Zero Balance," and I never received it. Instead ofthe"Zero Balance" letter, I received a collection notice just 3 weeks later for $530, which is the exact amount of the discount !? I called and disputed again, and they had no record of this discount or the "recorded conversation" (It was my own stupidity that I did not record the conversation myself) In the end, I had to pay the discount amount and close the account for good. During the entire process, the billing department was rude most of the time and just cared about getting the money. So the lesson of this story; ALWAYS RECORD YOUR CONVERSATIONS WITH ORLANDO HEALTH AND COVER YOUR OWN A**. Or be ready to pay much more than you told to. Or do like I do, NEVER SET YOUR FOOT IN THIS PLACE.
