Needed a tooth extracted that my insurance covers!!!!!! However the place wants you to have graphs and stuff put on which is a $612 out of pocket expense!!!! The billing person said its not necessary, told the dentist I didnt want the graphing done..and he comes back with I have to have it done. People take your business elsewhere multiple people in there complaining. And its unsanitary their water station has black mold and other mold growing in the waiting room

****RIPPING OFF CONSUMERS**** The game is charging customers upfront prices because they said the insurance don't cover the charge...when your insurance clearly states it covers at 80% ... they will tell you it all depends on the tooth and the location blah blah blah....your fee just for CLEANING is $3000 upfront ( I exaggerated the amount ..but you get my point) and then they will bill the insurance an enormous amount like $30,000..( exaggerated again ) ...then they will get the insurance to pay them the entire bill not disclosing to the insurance that they charged the customer an upfront price since they told the customer insurance don't cover the charge....then they will keep the money that you paid upfront and keep the money the insurance paid as well...they will never call to credit you back your money you paid upfront....as mentioned Rip off... Please don't bother to ask me to call to further discuss.. I know the game and how you run things to keep the light on ... when customers come in just for a simple Cleaning. This will be reported to the BBB.

Its very conflicting for me to leave this review, because while I have had many positive experiences and referred multiple people due to how great Dr. Song and Ms. Liu are, its hard to ignore how you can be treated if something goes wrong. I recently had a filling accidentally dropped into my throat, which the dental team could not remove. They urged me to not swallow it. I sat up in the room, desperately trying to cough it up in a truly terrifying experience and being unable to breathe in the process, and thankfully I did eventually do so. They were certainly shocked this happened, telling me it was crazy and had never happened before, and they resumed treatment. They charged me the full price at the end of the service ($590), offered no compensation, and did not call the following day to see if I was okay. Now as it happens, during a separate treatment on this visit, they bumped and impacted a filling of mine as I suddenly could feel a hole in a tooth that shouldnt have been worked on (the explanation is the one told to me by the dentist when I came back a few days later concerned). They were able to fix it (mostly - they sent me out before offering me a mirror, so I can now tell its not 100% the same and the look from the front is impacted), and told me as an inconvenience for what happened last time theyd waive the cost ($37). Not going to lie, never thought a dentist was going to charge me for repairing an issue that they admitted they caused, much less pretend it was fair for the severity of the prior appointment. This is not to mention a huge billing issue they caused me in the past that took them months to rectify. So all I can say is tread carefully. If you never have an issue with this office, you will love them. They are kind and hardworking professionals, and truly one of the only places that will actually remember you and know you. Their hygienist is the best Ive ever seen. But if you have an issue? Dont expect accountability or action to remedy.

I would like to share my experience with Doctor Phillips Modern Dentistry!! I had an extreme pain due to a tooth cavity tha exposed the nerf and was stuggeling with it for over a week since I took an appointment with an other dentist during the time i was waiting for the appointment I used every available reamedy to calm the pain down. I went to the other dentist they took me in, did an x ray and some pics of my tooth and told me "you have a cavity exposing the nerf it is either extraction or a root canal", Something i already knew?? Given the amount of pain I was in i told to do whatever they think is good as long as the pain goes away. ANSWER: " we can not do anything we have to refer you to someone else" Knowing that my daughter did 4 teeth extraction 2 months prior???? I was so frusted and not sure why i was even there after waiting almost a week for my appointment. I was desperate and looket at google and found " MODERN DENTISTRY" near by, I called them and by the time i got to their parking lot they already booked my appointment, took me in and the paperwork process was painless since it all goes through an app. I did not have to wait they took me in instantly, even they had other patients in their office. Every one was great from the reception to the doctors to the assistant. They gave me the options to either save my tooth or extract it, they also gave me payment options since i was self paying. they were prompt and few hours later I walked out with no PAIN!!! Thank you DOCTOR ZAMAN, and thank you to everyone that helped me out you are the BEST! I HIGHLY RECOMMAND!
