Unhelpful office assistant, trying to schedule appointment and didnt understand what she was asking

I have suffered from nasal polyps on 2 separate occasions - both required surgery. Dr. Mokris took care of me in both instances and he was great to work with: kind, informative and professional. Always got in at the time of my scheduled appointment and never waited long for the doc. Fortunately I haven't had to visit him in a while, but if I ever need an ENT again, he's the man.

The other review listed on Google at this time is for a dentist. Appears there is a dentist in Kissimmee with same last name. Michael Mokris, MD is an ENT, not a dentist.

I was very apprehensive about going to the dentist as it has been at least 10 years since last I went, so mu nervea going into this were just wrecked because I know I need work done. I arrived in the office, greeted by very nice and pleasant staff and then Dr. Mokris in the exam room. He was pleasant but very minimalistic. He expressed how I would be taken care of and not to worry only to give me a referral to another dentist... So, I went to the other dentist he referred me to and when I arrived the staff looked at my chart and literally said out loud "This is going to be a Mokris Day." In a very irritated tone. Which leads me to believe that Dr.Mokris refers ALOT of patients. That dentist just tried to sell me implants and offered absolutely NO other alternative. So I left having no work done my either dentist and I just feel like I've been given the run around and no one actually cares enough to help me. Here's where the 1 star rating comes in... A few weeks passed and I began to have extremely sharp, mind numbing pain in one of my teeth that just needs to be extracted, so I called Dr.Mokris and tried to make an appointment for an extraction but he literally REFUSED to do it. Once again, tried to refer me elsewhere. I had tears streaming down my face BEGGING a dentist who took me as a new patient and billed my insurance... WHY??? Are you not a dentist? He is lazy and genuinely does NOT CARE about his patients. Steer clear of this Dentist or just go ahead and ask him for the Dr. he is going to refer you to and save some time. 👌👍
