Hired this company for pool resurfacing for an existing pool and the addition of a built in spa. We were also replacing patio tile and adding a pool screen. Told it would take 6-10 weeks. Contractor said we would get tired of seeing him there so much. In actuality, every bit of this job subbed out. We were constantly giving him updates instead of the other way around. The spa was installed incorrectly, leaked, and there were numerous people sent out over several months to try to fix it. We also had to bring in another pool company to correct the resurfacing in the pool. Thanks to one reliable subcontractor, we were able to finish the project after 7 long MONTHS. Service: Remodeling

At the end of the day, I can say this: We have a pool. I do not possess the vocabulary to accurately express the true stupidity that my family had to endure for ~463 days. Our pool was "started" in March of 2021; it was just finished. We had a hole in the ground with rebar for six weeks, it was re-dug three times. Once the shell was shot, it sat for six months. For six months, Henry did not speak with us. For six months, his Subs would come to our backyard and ask US what THEY needed to do. For six months, we would call, text, email anything to get a response, and nothing. Then we found Facebook and things got started again... kind of. We failed EVERY SINGLE INSPECTION multiple times. The worst was the ground wire...First, it took CPC POOLS of Central Fl. four tries to get the ground wire within 18 - 24 inches of the water line... FOUR TRIES. Then they just forgot to ground the footer... Then start the phone calls about subs being owed money... Then the liens began to arrive (more on that in a second)... Queue going from unadulterated frustration to being absolutely flabbergasted. I can't remember exactly when (I think I blocked it out to save my brain from melting.), but sometime around this point, someone (a previous customer of CPC Pools) tracked me down via LinkedIn and called to tell me that Henry had stolen a salt cell from her pool. HE STOLE IT OUT OF HER WORKING POOL. Once we had the plaster shot, we filled the pool with glee... It had been, at that point, nine months since we started. Then we kept filling the pool, every week for 1.5 hours or more. But Henry promised there was no leak, just evaporation from having a "large spillover." We were in trust-but-verify mode, so we called a professional! Two massive leaks later, we can finally start to keep the water & chemicals in the pool. Oh, and let's not go super deep here (pun intended), but our hot tub didn't work for eight weeks... Not sure how he made it 30 years without using a propane-powered heater, but let's just say it was too complex for him. So now we are done, just a few days before the one-year shovel date (June 12th) anniversary, and Henry Marin still hasn't paid his subs. I paid him on time, every time, in full as soon as his obligations were complete, and he won't pay those that actually did the work. If you want to work with the most awful person you could possibly find, hire CPC Pools. If you want to question everything about basic education and problem-solving skills, hire CPC Pools. If you love having an absolute mess in your backyard and not a single person caring about it, call CPC Pools. If you want more than $5,000 worth of repair work to your backyard because they were wreckless and lazy, call CPC Pools. BUT, if you have any desire to have anything close to a stress-free experience (not that it's really possible), HIRE LITERALLY ANYONE ELSE. In conclusion, Henry Marin, the owner of CPC Pools, is without a doubt the worst pool contractor that this state has ever given a license to; and honestly, it should be revoked.
