        I really like the sand boat launch, gradual grade. This makes it easy for a couple of less than athletic seniors launch and retrieve our kayak. Great choices on where 2 paddle, Strickland Creek and Thompson Creek provide more natural scenery. Truth be told, we retreated to the more sheltered residential area, and we're well rewarded. Little Blue Heron, who wasn't shy, I think a spoon bill and a tagged Manatee made 3 passes drawing its buoy marker past us. Playground: Nice playground in use while we passed by. Restrooms: There are good easley accessible washroom. Although you may find them needing "maintenance " occasionally.
