I brought my dogs here for my birthday to get some exercise and be in tune with nature. This was a lovely trail and we enjoyed our time bird watching. BUT we did see two HUGE snakes. It's nature so creatures are to be expected but stay aware of your surroundings. Dog-friendliness: There was a sign on the bridge that had a no dog symbol. However the entrance to the trail says dogs allowed. I think the sign on the bridge meant no off leash dogs allowed. I did bring my dogs on the bridge as it was the only way through the trail without turning around and backtracking but something to be weary of.
