I worked with Laura Gilmore at Fairway. Initially she seemed nice and helpful. There were some immediate blunders that I thought were simple mistakes. Such as she was delayed on providing the pre-approval, and claimed she confused me with another client of similar name and did not realize until I reached out. She apologized, it was fine. However, after working with her several months after this, I came to realize, at least in my case, that Laura was unfortunately not working in my best interest. I was trying to understand the process to pick out the right house as we were eligible for some special programs, but there were delays, ignored calls, ignored texts, and ignored emails. Too many to count. I would've sent her 1/4th the correspondence that I did, had she actually replied when I requested information or asked questions. It wasn't only me though, she also was unresponsive with my real estate agent, for days at a time, at various important times during the purchasing process on one property that we ultimately backed out of. I only write negative reviews when I feel a service is so far below acceptable and no one should experience such a service. I surely hope she doesn't treat other buyers to this substandard. Even at the end of our process after so many issues I reached out to her for an updated pre-approval and was met with further silence. At that point, I made the decision to stop chasing her for answers and simply cut contact and move on.
