First root canal and all went very smooth. I thought it was a frontal tooth but doc took time to test and properly identify right tooth. No pain at all in fact today is day 2 and still No pain. I'm from NY and will travel to st pete for all further endodontic treatments. HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOCTOR HEDRICK AND STAFF

I myself have done Root Canal Treatments for 35yrs. at Endodontic Assoc. in central PA. I am now retired and living half time in Florida. When I needed a root canal treatment my first thought was to fly home , but instead I decided to have it done here in Florida. I have now had my second root canal here by Dr Randall T.Hedrick at St Petersburg Endodontics. It's been the absolute best experience that a patient can have. The staff is super professional and personable . The equipment used is current state of the art via the latest technology . I had the best experience , pain free in the chair and post op. Most noticeable to me was Dr Hedrick's focus on perfection. I highly recommend this practice to my family ,friends, and other patients seeking the best Endodontic Therapy.

I cracked my tooth on a date pit (be careful!) and ultimately ended up needing a root canal. My first ever. My dentist referred me to Dr. Hendricks at St. Petersburg Endodontics, and I'm SO glad!! While dentists sometimes do root canals, if I ever need one again in the future or if my family/friends need one, I will strongly recommend an endodontist, and if they're in St. Petersburg, this practice. The level of professionalism and care I received from start to finish was phenomenal. No one wishes for a root canal and I was extremely nervous, but this experience makes me so grateful that I got the chance to experience St. Petersburg Endodontics. The front desk got me in the same day (which was crucial as I left for a week-long business trip the next day and was in a lot of pain) and explained the total cost upfront so I was prepared. While my insurance is out of network, they're still going to try to run it for me to see if I'll get anything back. The assistant to the endodontist was incredible. She was super friendly, explained everything that was going on, and was comforting me throughout the process to quell my nerves. She gave me a pillow and offered a blanket to make me as comfortable as possible. She took off and put on my temporary crown expertly and worked very well with Dr. Hendricks. I'd want her to be my friend if I had met her somewhere else! Dr. Hendricks himself was wonderful. He was able to diagnose my issue with the office's advanced technology and confirmed I unfortunately did need a root canal. It was painless in his capable hands. The worst part was the novocaine (or whatever anesthetic they used) shot and keeping my jaw open (which he kindly massaged after because he saw my pain) for the procedure, no pain from the process!! He expertly numbed me up and got to work. The whole process from arrival to departure only took an hour. Dr. Hendricks even called later that night to check up on me! Fortunately, aside from the typical post op discomfort, I have no pain and am healing well. If you need a root canal, GO HERE.

My dentist referred me to St. Petersburg Endodontics. Every team member I interacted with from Missy at the beginning, and Heather at the end was very professional and friendly. Ashia, one of the outstanding dental assistants "prepped" me and was present throughout the procedure. Dr. Hedrick expertly performed my first root canal and there was no pain. I highly recommend St. Petersburg Endodontics and Dr. Hedrick for his expertise, and genuine interest in his patients.
