I am being generous by giving a 2 star review. My husband went to this practice to have a general cleaning and checkup. Apparently they have decided to opt out of certain insurances, Medicare being one and never told my husband during his visit nor did they tell us this at the time the appointment was made. At the end they hit him with a $400.00 bill. Although the service by the dentist and hygienist was very good it does not make up for the horrible service of the support staff. Regina who checked him out was rude and stated she didn't have time to deal with us on the bill. Not expecting a $400.00 bill we had no choice but to put it on a credit card and pay the interest until we can be reimbursed. To say they need to educate their staff regarding billing policies is an understatement. If you want to be a cash business then you need to put that in your advertising and also notify patients at the time of their scheduling. I am sure there are practices that will gladly accept us as a patient and work with our insurance.

I avoided the dentist at all costs until I found Dr. Ruder at Seacrest Dental. I cannot express how professional, caring, and painless my experience has been. I have had multiple fillings performed by both Dr. Fred Ruder and Dr. Ross Ruder. I suffer from sleep apnea and cavities are a part of having it. Everyone is so professional and you feel like you are part of their family. I trust them implicitly.
