Dr Balmer is so compassionate and understanding he squeeze me in for a surgery on November 22 for my broken wrist due to a car accident and he made it happen successfully and also for my follow-up he tried to squeeze my time in so I can see him conveniently since I cannot drive and I rely on my friend I totally recommend him and by the way he has a great sense of humor he brightens my day every time I see him. All his office stuff are very nice I would definitely recommend him if you need surgery and he's affiliated with Saint Joe hospital Van Dyke thank you Dr Balmer

I'm not sure who these other reviews are from because I had a different experience. I went in for shoulder pain that'd been ongoing for 2 months. They did an xray which looked fine and he said you'll be ok in a few weeks, take some aspirin. Well it's now August and it's just gotten steadily worse. Also I had insurance but they charged me nearly $200 then have never charged my insurance so im pretty sure they had me pay out of pocket. Will find a new doctor who will actually do more than a cursory check.

Dr. Bulmer is a caring surgeon who listens to his patients! He's a Christian too. I just had foot surgery to fix a defect from a neglected break from Drs. years ago. I had no pain, instant healing, instant better foot! He did hip surgery on my husband this week. Fixed a broken hip/femur bone that was over looked by other doctors. John has no pain! Dr. Bulmer is the best! The way a doctor should be!
