        Worst gate company! They keep charging to fix the same issue and its yet to be fixed! Waiting so long at the virtual gate guard last night I fell asleep. But they say no one ever waits that long. They also say its the residents fault the gates never work. But it doesnt work every time after a rain and they randomly open by themselves other times. Doesnt matter a clicker or sticker. Kbar wants their gates fixed!

        Every time it rains our community gate stops working. Securiteam tries to blame residents for it breaking. Our community is a newer community so its not malfunctioning older equipment. I have to go to the gate frequently to get deliveries because the virtual guards take forever to answer. Hopefully K Bar stops using them as all the residents have a malfunction every day.

        I've had the displeasure of having to interact with this company's "virtual security guards". They're extremely slow and bad at their jobs. An actual security guard could have it taken care of within a minute or two. This company will create a long, long line because of their inability to work in a timely manner. I'd know, I typed this entire review out while waiting in a 5+ car line that is 100% being caused by this company.

      Robbie I am sorry you have had a bad experience. This isn't the proper forum for me to discuss that status of the gates in any community. Gate equipment, especially older equipment, requires constant maintenance and/or update. Any repair quote must be approved by management. Often times we have provided a quote for needed repairs and are waiting for proper approval to get started. If you experience trouble at a gate, please reach out to your property manager for assistance.

      CL Our guards process over 40k calls per month. We monitor our processing times very closely: Our average answering time is under 30 seconds and processing time is under 60 seconds. This means that our average total processing time is in line with the "minute or two" window that you suggest you can experience with an on-site guard. Unfortunately, those averages include some longer times. This can be caused by a lot of factors such as an unusually high traffic flow, extensive community screening procedures, our inability to reach a homeowner for a guest ahead of you, or simply a short-term rush. In this instance, the cause could simply be the latter. If 5 cars arrive at the gate at about the same time and each car takes 1-2 minutes to process, it will take you 5-10 minutes to reach the gate. I am sorry that you experienced a longer wait than you expected. One way to improve your experience is to ask the homeowner to add your name and vehicle to their permanent guest list. In most cases this will allow you to bypass the line entirely. I hope you have an improved experience in future visits.

      I am not sure of which community you are referring. We actually do not service the gate operator equipment at the vast majority of communities where we provide our Virtual Security Guard Services. This may be the case in your community. If so, we can provide with alternate providers that you may be more satisfied with. Please give our office a call so that we can provide further assistance either way.
