        SouthState is so shady. Dont get this bank. People at the branch are phenomenal, but the company and bank itself are trash.

        Sunstate recently handled a loan for an investment property for us. The process was unbelievably smooth. We have worked with several other banks in the past but we will only work with Sunstate from now on. Jill Locastro and her team were amazing. We can't thank you all enough for making this as stress free as possible. They were not only professional but made us feel so comfortable. Great job! 10 stars!

        Was told to bring our insurance check to be deposited and Wendy would not take it. Said we needed an appointment. Bre who I I talked to on the phone said to bring it. Get your act together Bre. Would not do business with this bank if I didn't have to.

        Nice old fashion bank look and feel. Just wish they had a walk up ATM outside or one inside /sort of like a self help kiosk. I particularly don't like drive thru ATMs . But I just joined this bank and so far the service is good. The online set up was tedious and annoying and customer service on the phone stunk through the 800 number but so far service at the Ellenton and Venice branch is great.
