    I really can't fathom how this company has such a high rating. After having some serious septic issues over the past year, Green's informed us we needed a new tank and drain field. They did soil samples and got all of the information they needed from us and said it would take 5 weeks to get a permit. 5 weeks later we called to check on our progress only to find out that they needed a signed appraisal to get the process started. We were frustrated, but signed the appraisal and thought we would now be good to go. A bit more cautious now, we called a week later only to find that Dominique had not submitted for the permit. He said he would submit it immediately. Two weeks later, I get a call from Dominique and he tells me that he needs to add the new septic tank to the appraisal. It should have been on the first appraisal! Very frustrated now, we say send the new appraisal and we will get it right back to you. Now aware of how disorganized and uncommunicative they are, we call back a couple of days later, because we have not received the new appraisal. Dominique says he forgot to send it and will get right on it. That was nearly a week ago and still no appraisal. We are now 2 months into this process and praying that our system will last until we can get another company to take care of this. For your own sake and peace of mind, avoid this business at all costs! Final follow up: Green's Environmental Services response is basically nonsense. Instead of actually manning up and admitting that they dropped the ball on several occasions, they are deflecting and making it seem as if this was all just caused by procedures that they legally had to follow. The true point of my negative review is that this business had to constantly be poked and prodded in order to get them to simply do their job. I needed to call them (sometimes multiple times) every step of the process. A customer shouldn't have to hound a service provider in order have the privilege of handing them thousands of dollars. Consumers deserve better than Green's Environmental Services.

First, we want to precise that we never met you and we never did work for you.It seems you are posting a review for a friend or boyfriend and based on hearsays' and not on facts and you don't own the property either.After reading your review , we are sorry if there were some misunderstandings in the process and the requirements for a permit application with the owner. We came to check the property with the owner's presence ,and not you ,and we did a site evaluation. We emailed a quote to that owner the same day but it did not sign or email it back approved. We can not apply for a permit unless the owner signs the contract that also mentions "we approve the job to be done". After 5 weeks ,the owner ,Jeff Hughes called us to know a status about the work needed and we mentioned at that time that we never got a signed contract to get the job done. Frustrated,he then emailed it signed January 24th without the down payment required. Regardless,we prepared the application for the permit and we saw that we did not have a tank certification and that the tank needed to be replaced .We called him february 1st and we mentioned that issue.Just know that the permit requires 8 pages to be completed , including a site plan of the property that had to be drawn as none was provided.It takes a few days to assemble and get all the paperwork needed and the process is very time consuming. Due to the type of soil and location for the new tank , it took us 2 days to get a price for the material and to get the revised quote emailed.Some materials are back ordered as inventory is low in our industry.We sent him the revised quote february 5th but he never replied to our email or send it back signed. It seems to us he was repeating the same event of first quote ignoring to sign it.As mentioned, we can not apply for a permit without the signed contact unless he applies for his own.Today, we forwarded him the emailed quote sent on the 5th as proof but he completely ignored it again . We will add again that he never sent any down payment either as it is well mentioned on the quotes ,no fine print . For any work to be done, we need to have a complete file like any legitimate business . To make issue more factual, we NEVER forgot to send the permit application like you mentioned as we never had a complete signed contract with the down payment . Actually, if the owner or you decided for him to get another contractor today , it is because he never sent the down payment required or you would have mentioned it in your review for a refund.We must also precise on the very important fact that our research about the property needed for the permit also showed that there is a lien for $12500 for a roof installed by Total roofing in 2021 and was never paid for .Now you can understand why the down payment was important and the fact we needed the paperwork signed.We are sorry to have to give these details but you did not give us any choice. We actually felt bullied and pressured to get any work done with the owner knowledge of the missing down payment and signed revised contract.We wish you the best for your future endeavors.We want to mention that we did not do any work on the property in regard to your complaint. It is about time that google only allows reviews to be posted when work has been performed. We have been servicing central Florida for over 35 years and we are always pleased to help and educate the community about their septic system needs. We also know the importance of a signed contract and the consequences when the paperwork is not properly performed.
