The Archer Apartments

They make it almost impossible to pay your rent I have to get money orders to pay they will tell you to pay your bill with there easy to use app but it never works its always blacking out when you put your payment info I work in Florida some times and I have had to fly back home twice to hand them a money order just two days away from being evicted

I have to give a shout out to Jesus who is one of the maintenance men at the Archer Apartments. I had a water issue and he came to fix the problem on his day off. He is very friendly and so eager to help you out. Also, Sylvester is another maintenance worker who is very nice. Property managers, Shayla and Shawn are always willing to help you with whatever you need! It makes living here so much nicer when you have such nice people working here.

I gave the rating a 1- Star rating bc there was not an option for 0- Star rating. I lived in the Archer apartments in Acworth Ga, and I chose not to renew my lease in January due to the new management company representation. While being a resident in the Archer for the past 4 years we went through various changes and we went through 3-4 different ownerships/management companies but the Habor Group was by far the worst. The walkway/corridor is always dirty. The gate is ALWAYS broken. The new maintenance team would halfway fix issues. There was always some type of insect issue, communication from the people in the office was laughable, never followed up on issues, never showed a sense of urgency and never answered the phone. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional organization in my life, to say the least. I moved out over 2 months ago now, and I have yet to receive my deposit refund. I have called and asked to speak to the property manager Brittany several times and Sean/Shawn pretends to take the message and have her return my call, and still to no avail as of today. Shayla who is the property manager's assistant, continues to give me the run around as well. By far the worst team to represent the Habor Group Management Co. Upon resigning my lease if I chose to stay, the rent would have increased to $1875.00 USD for my small 2BR/2BA unit. I would NOT recommend this property.

The maintenance team is very efficient and extremely polite. If you have a problem, they will come fix it right away and are very responsive. I want to thank them for helping with the issue!

Trigger Warning*** Bomb threat mentioned! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! Please dont let the glitz and glam fool you. The Red Roof Inn RIGHT beside the apartment complex has so much activity. I hate using the word homeless, but there are multiple people who do NOT live in the neighborhood that roam daily. They steal packages due to Amazon leaving them out freely and there not being enough lockers for the complex to put packages in. The gates are ALWAYSSSSSSSSSSS broken. Ive been here for a couple years, not once have the carpets been cleaned as they are supposed to be once a year. The door IN your home that houses the heater I believe is locked shut, so you have no way of getting in or out to clean so if you have allergies to dust, its a def hazard. If you want to host an event at the clubhouse WE PAY UTILITIES FOR, its $250 for the security deposit + $75 an hour!!!!!!!!!! And the worst of the worst, icing on the cake was the bomb threat we had yesterday. MULTIPLE PEOPLE FROM THE NEIGHBORHOOD CALLED THE OFFICE AND WE WERE ALL TOLD THERE IS NOTHING WE NEEDED TO BE WORRIED ABOUT due to us seeing the police activity outside. Woke up to an email THIS MORNING about it being a BOMB THREATTTTT and that they evacuated ONLY BUILDING ONE!!!!!!!!!!! WHATTTTTTTTTTT?!?! I have an entire family living here along with relatives who were visiting!!!!!!!!!!! Im BEYONDDDDDDDD upset to know that during a bomb threat, we were not made aware that we can potentially be hurt, or even worse killed! We all know how bombs can differ, so why was building one only told about the evacuation?!?!?! I AM PISSED AND JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH A LAWYER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Horrible horrible horrible management. They are ONLY worried about the money. And maybe Im asking too much, but GIVE MY FAMILY AND I THE OPTION TO EVACUATEEEEEE!!!!! I have tiny kids and not being in the know of where they lay their heads is very disheartening. Im crying as I type this because WOW. You work hard, and try to provide for your family and keep them in a safe environment only for this to be the case. Breaks my heart. And yes, I know anything can happen anywhere, but I would just like to know whats happening in the neighborhood I pay thousandssssss to a month!
