My house generator battery charger stopped working. The battery was draining during the weekly cycle. Generac said they were an approved service company. I reached out to have them replace it. Richard said he would waive the diagnostic fee if I allowed him to do a tune up on the Generator for $250. When he arrived he said I should just buy a new generator without looking into the issue. I stated again that it just needed a new battery charger. He argued that I did not know that to be the case and he needed to run a full diagnostics. He spent most of his time waiting on hold with Generac for instructions on how to test the generator system. He eventually came to the conclusion that I was correct and the battery charger was bad. He then said he did not bring the oil, filter and spark plug for the tune-up. Richard then said that I needed to pay him for the tune-up, the new battery charger, and the cost to install it up front. I paid $570 and never heard back from him. I called several times and text his work service and he never answered the phone or responded to my text. After several failed attempts, I reached out to my credit card company to dispute the charge. After the credit card reversed the charge, Richard called. I contacted my credit card company to give them the money back immediately. I provided proof to Richard that the credit card company paid him again. Nearly a week later Richard was making claims that he never received the money and refused to come to do the work. I offered to pay cash on site and he refused unless I would give him the money prior to completing the work. He then sent me a bill for the his diagnostics work. I said I would pay it if he did the tune -up as originally agreed upon and he refused.

Installed a whole-house generator for us. Very happy with both the product and the installation. Ohms and Watts worked with us to determine the best approach to the installation (which was not easy with our house configuration) and executed it well.

I hired him to add an electrical outlet when I moved the TV. During the estimate he did not mention that he would have to make an unusually large hole that would require sheetrock repair and paint. When I mentioned that I had had similar work done and everyone else was able to make the usual outlet hole, he told me I should call one of those guys......so I did.
