Typically I let certain things slide but I was recently in the Albany Georgia store and I was very disappointed with one of the sales clerks. Because I am spending my money, I tend to look at the price stickers by flipping the tabs covering the price to make sure I am not exceeding my budget. I went to checkout, and I noticed that the items were a few dollars higher than they were under the tabs. So, I said to the sales person ringing me up that there is a price difference. The other sales person said the prices are different now. I said well typically in sales you have to give the price that is advertised. She went on to say that , they (I assume "they" means the corporate office) send us a stack this high and she made a hand gesture as to how many price changes there are. She further explained that its only a few of them (again I assume, meaning salespeople). As I am pulling my money out, I thought about her comments and said to her that its not nice to speak to customers in that manner because it came off as she was getting a little smart mouth. She said "well, I am sorry you feel that way". Still kind of smart mouth. I said back to her, "well I do feel that way and I will take it up with corporate". Mind you when I arrived they was NO ONE in the store shopping and the smart mouth person was actually laying across the counter looking at her phone. My suggestion is that if you have time to lay across the counter, you should be making yourself more useful by changing the prices on your items so that your customers remain satisfied. Even though I do hair part time now, I have been a loyal supporter of the store for many many years. And even though there are salespeople that come directly to the salon I chose to patronize local businesses. But I may rethink that thought. Sorry for the long reviews but sometimes you have to let people know your experience. If I value you, you should also value meand my support of you.
